Welcome to Japan Safety Hub

Japan Safety Hub is an integrated website that introduces external resources in multiple languages to help foreign residents, including international tourists in Japan, stay safely and address risks related to Japanese tourism. This system was conceived, developed, and is operated by Japanese junior high school student. We hope this system helps you have a safe and secure stay in Japan. Additionally, this system is designed to be accessible offline, even in poor network conditions, such as during a disaster. How to use Japan Safety Hub offline

Japan Safety Hub can be added to your home screen, just like a native app, allowing you to access it quickly even when you're offline.

How to Add to Your Home Screen

Follow the steps below to add Japan Safety Hub to your device's home screen:

After adding the site to your home screen, you can open it anytime, just like a regular app. Even without an internet connection, many parts of the site will still be accessible.

Emergency Resources

• Emergency Call
  🚔 In case of an incident or accident where police assistance is required, dial 110.
  🚒/🚑 For fires, injuries, or medical emergencies, dial 119 for fire and ambulance services.
  🛟 For accidents at sea or on rivers, contact the Japan Coast Guard at 118.
  
  These emergency public services are completely free of charge, and there are no call fees.
  Furthermore, English support is generally available for these emergency calls. However, support in languages other than English may vary depending on the region.
• #171 - This is a voicemail system for disaster situations operated by NTT. (Japanese only)
• 00000JAPAN This is a free Wi-Fi service that operates only during disasters, and it can be freely used during such times. This helps improve connectivity during disasters. When a disaster occurs, try searching for the Wi-Fi SSID #00000JAPAN on your device's Wi-Fi settings.

Embassies have an obligation to protect their citizens. Therefore, if you encounter any trouble in Japan, it may be a good idea to contact your embassy.
